Crazy win for McNeil for sure. They went from an 85 last year to a 90 this year.

I def have bias as I go to Churchill but we beat them last year…who’s to say we won’t do it again? Mcneil is a fantastic band though WC is also a much better ensemble than last year. So much so that multiple panelists at the NEISD Band Fall Festival said there’s no reason we can’t compete with Reagan and Johnson this year. Eyes out for WC. Our stuff is good.

Churchill has also been rebuilding their program after Covid. Before Covid they were semi consistent state qualifiers and they really weren’t far from some of the great programs today. I’m a senior at Churchill and we’ve been getting better year by year, but this year feels different.

Vista Ridge Fest, TMC, Area, Sa BOA

I’m looking forward to this WC and McNeil comp round 2. Last year we were neck and neck and McNeil ended up coming out on top but this year is different for Churchill.

Churchill?

I believe the placements for the large division were these 1. Vandy 2. Hebron 3. Vista 4. Cedar Park 5. Bowie 6. WC 7. Leander 8. Henny train In quite certain all of these bands used their marching band show since they all brought soloists.

Something to keep in the back of your minds is WC and Bowie placed higher than Hendrickson and Leander at Dripping Springs percussion comp. I don’t know how much this will transfer to overall scores but it’s super cool thinking about how big an upset those programs could create.

WC took the dub last year. My predictions cause they’re on the up. 1. Churchill 2. Westlake 3. McNeil 4. Taft 5. Lake Belton 6. Glenn 7. Weiss 8. Hutto 9. Liberty Hill 10. Wagner
