That ending has lot going on. Time change can def create a tear but its so intricate!! I have only heard it the two times when they competed against us and wow. It's just super technical! It wasnt spotless but definitely gutsy.

What happense if it rains Saturday?

That's what it felt like. The stadium staff was great but understaffed and trying to do too much with too little bc BoA cut corners.

The performances were so fun. Congratulations to all the students, staff and parents involved in all the hard work!! Been to many BoA events and the spectatoe logistics in Waco were wack. The stadium is beautiful. But leaving after prelims was dangerous how they funneled so many people thru a tiny gate. They didn't open the second level and seating for the Baylor performance and the awards was just dumb. Couldn't even hear the announcer in the end zone. One concessions open. Those musicians waited in line forever. 50 bucks a head. BoA needs to take a long hard look at treating their spectators(and musicians) better.

Props are for domes these days.

Keep in mind show design starts long before these types of changes. And their guard just keeps elevating. But yeah. For me they look a step up from past years.

Their guard is just insanely visually strong. Could not take my eyes off them.

Two of Westlakes trucks broke this morning. That's after a bus broke down coming from an away football game last night. Props to that band fam for rallying thru some misfortune. It happens at these things and it was a triple whammy. Thanks to BOA and the other bands for adjusting start times for the Chaps. And, truly, thanks for the very kind compliments in the messages above. This band community is a beautiful thing and we admire everyone of these programs and musicians.
