Putting Jordan below Langham is a bit disrespectful. They are consistent area finalists and have always been finishing above the other bands, including beating 7L at Katy marching fest. They are a younger band only been around for 5 years. I know they have quite a good band and will keep buliding. They did get cooked in the area comp by getting a 20 in brass by one judge, which was completely undeserved. From what I have heard, I know they are going quite a different route with show design this year. Their show name is Heads Will Roll, and it's quite a cool concept.

sounds interesting... Any more you can tell us?

I think ranking JET over a Jordan or Cyfair is a bit off. I think they could be a top 5 if their show is much more difficult this year. Cyfair is a lock, and to have them not there would be assuming that its a really bad show/run. Katy might be passed by the likes of peatow to. Jordan would be my number 5-4 if they don't get a random judge giving the a 20th in brass and 18th in music that was completely undeserved.

I have an idea-ish, you could make it so that it works as normal, however, you add a tag of some sort, saying their class you can choose from these when making the page, next to where you input the names. Then people could predict the classifications for a contest and have tabs at the top, of the little pop-up when looking at them, for the different classifications. It is not overly complicated and definitely would need to be worked out better; it's more of a framework adjustment/modification of what you guys already have. Feel free to give feedback why it wouldn't work! Also, the predictions is what I think most people are here for, soo that's what I am focusing on.

2025 BOA Prosper (Oct. 11)
bassboneman replied to LeanderMomma's topic in Non-UIL: Upcoming Contests, Events, and Festivals
Yeah, some of these boa line ups this year are crazy. A lot of bands are doing BOA houstan and BOA shenandoah -
This could be because it's built mostly for the band. All of the services TxBands offers are mostly targeted at marching band. I think adding more things to do and pushing the place for color guard would work to change that. I know lots of crazy drumline and guard people who would love it if you added more systems and places for them.

I agree. Area I has a big issue with having the Bridgeland, Cy-Fair, and Cy Woods marching bands, Whille also having bands like Jordan, 7L and tayolor

Their edge is …

Jordan: Running and gunning. Their band director is a BD brass guy who also led the 2018 SVC Melo line.
