Hi Guys! I am a recently graduated Alumni of Rock Hill (class of 24) and marched clarinet all four years. I'm new around here trying to catch up marching band news from the DFW area, and now attend BYU for music ed!

Any updates on the Area J inclement weather decision. I looked at the next 24 hours and it says it will begin to rain around 3pm so it might affect the later bands who perform in the afternoon part. Hopefully everyone stays dry tomorrow and have a smooth contest!

Does anyone know why Rock Hill didn’t advance, like what did they do wrong with drill or music? I was trying to watch their prelims performance but had a football pregame when they performed.

I’m surprised that Rock Hill got second but didn’t win any captions. Does someone have the score breakdown for finals?

The top three that I know of is: 1st- Lone Star 2nd- Rock Hill 3rd- McKinney The rest I do not remember.

What was the opinion on Rock Hill for finals? (Rock Hill Alumni). I might of heard it was a better run for them according to people from the band.
