Anyone have the results for who made finals

So true, unfortunately my band didn't make state this year but I feel so good for all the bands that made it. Sachse has to be my favorite highschool show this year with them playing the same opener as Troopers 2023 along with Bon Jovi and Mando theme.

Didn't see any forms for Lonestar drum line contest so if people wanted to talk about it here it is.

What are the chances of them making finals? I was at area C finals with one of the bands and hearing them make 1st over Waxahachie made have hope that sachse might have a shot at finals.

I’m very interested to see scoring as soon as people get it, I’m sure it was close since all the performances were great.

Final guess for me: Wax Sashe Forney wildcard(dville,Berkner,Lake Highlands, Rockwall, etc)

It's been a while since I got to see Berkners show. Last I saw was at BOA when they had up to the drum feature learned. Anyone got the show from their UIL???

Right now I agree with top 2 but then sachse for 3rd and Berkner or Dville for 4th.

Do we have an updated schedule for area or at least of the bands preforming?

I agree, after watching they at Birdville got me prepared for the higher placement but I had no idea sachse was even going to be a school that would make finals for area.

Does anyone have recordings of Berkner(Full show)? I guess since they haven't been to any comps no one has really gotten any but I would have expected a football game run to post by now.

I think they have to show up to area to be counted. Could be wrong but getting confirmation would be great

For sure, I think the top 5 and bottom 5 will have a pretty big point gap since Wax and Lake Highlands work on totally different levels. I'm starting to think there will be a competition between state (Wax, Sashse, Forney, DVille, maybe Berkner and RockWall as well) and then one for bottom 5 (Berkner, Lake Highlands, JJ, Mesquite, ext). Those bottom bands for finals will still be great but I think there will be a pretty large gap.

Any got a video of sachse from Waco?

I think that was the same at BOA Dallas. They were only like 3 points off from finals. Also we need to take into mind that Berkner hasn't preformed in a comp for several weeks so until UIL (Unless any parents want to speak up) we won't really know for sure how much work they have done. I think this last month of the season is when the most improvement happens so I would expect Berkner to jump a place or two in area from where we had them in predictions.

Does anyone know how a band gets invited here or why requirements they have to meet?

Does anyone have a video of Forney, Waxahachie, and Rockwall. I haven't been able to see them yet and I'm starting the realize how tight this contest will end up being for the top 4 spots.

I think staying in highschool band gets you better prepared for DCI but I know I've been told to stay in highschool band but go to an audition day in your area just to check things out.

I'm aware they are good but it just didn't feel right, Imo there were a lot better of bands there that should have taken 2nd place such as Trinity and Sachse as I mentioned earlier. Also over the past few years Dville has been losing their shimmer again just my opinion. I also may just be attached to the crowd pleasing shows and since I didn't feel touched by the show I didn't expect them to do well.
