YEAH PEARLAND You got your faces back in the State Competition! Congrats!

So back in High School. My junior year I believe. My band went to San Antonio and stayed at a hotel that actually ended up being really close to where DanPod worked/lived. HA So I was like dude you should come meet up with me! And we did- we chilled in the lobby. But the band parents were downstairs like right across from us, so I knew the only way I could get away with him visiting me if there was any assumed suspicious activity was if i called him my cousin XDDD So, DanPod was my cousin for the few hours he was there. Then my friends came over and were hitting on him. People from my band were walking around up stairs, and thought I was hitting up with some guy from the other band in the hotel. Hahaha What a night. I also took DanPod camera to look at it because he has a sweet digital camera. He thought I was going to break it- and then got all nervous and demanded it back. hahaha Right Danpopper?!

Haha No. State...outside...NEVER 5A State. Been there. Done that. Never hold a major competition outside EVER. It was cold. Pouring Rain. AWFUL. there were no lines on the field practically half way through it. and so many people go hurt from the mud, it was ridiculous. dam i'm old..

I'm really curious to see what the break down is.

I guess people are still stuck in the past of the idea that marching bands support their football teams (Whhhattt who does that lol) But I mean, if you look at this way- not all marching bands do it as a Fine Art. There are still some that exist for the pure reason of supporting team spirit. So if thats the case, might as well make it a fair deal across the board for all bands. Then again- I also speak assuming there is that same rule for all schools...Anybody know the facts?

ahh, Just got inside from laying out in the sun with my swimsuit. Houston has its sun back today! Holla!
