Pearland is playing Enigma Rocky Point Holiday March Op. 99

and i'm scard as crap for my alumnus...but i think we might be okay cause we're cutting our band back down....we had this huge growth spurt from 04 to 05...as in like....we marched 16 flutes in 04...and then like...34 in 05...and a good majority of our soon to be sophomores are gonna rock...i dunno..we'll see i guess. alumnus...i think thats the right word...

hmmm 7th grade...."all-city honor band" band (cause thats what garland had) 8th grade- all-region symphonic band (i moved to pearland) 9th grade all region band... 10 grade all region 11 all region... 12th...all-region and 3 out of area...*cries* but hey...gettin to be 13th in phase one out of like...200.. and then 21st at phase 2 ....and getting to sit on the front row under the direction of Noe Marmelejo was friggin awesome. But hey.. I made "Michelle All-State" yeah thats right. what now.

hmm...No offence....but I don't think I could be apart of such a huge program- espically if I really care about playing- it doesn't seem like the directors would know my ability of playing very well...because they would have to compare me too like what...200 other clarinets? Thats about how many try-out for region band down here in Region 17 Area F!

Shepard's Hey is fun! I played the full band version in 7th grade with my symphonic band. Its mucho fun!

Lol! They didn't care at all. Laura made district (she doesn't know how), and Nat got like last chair= I think she said she played like 2 lines on one of the songs and qut. hahahaha . they both went out on piccolo. But our other pic made area!

Ah Yes...Missed being able to try out for area by 3 chairs... Excuse me while i go shoot myself...

I'm a little late replying...haha but no- We're not cool enough to have our show passed around on the internet. Though it was an amazing show.

Thank you MisterMan for your positive review on my band. It was nice to read some positive things on us for a change. (I'm not saying there is negative stuff on here...just other places i've seen negative words). I'm glad you enjoyed our show.

Oh ya...that band that goes to prelims at SHSU...and then leaves even though they made finals.....or they sign up and then don't show up...

Oh. My. Gosh. The clarinet music is a friggin joke. Espically the slow one- not to sound cocky but I sightread that. And first etude is really repitive- but fun to play- that gonna be my favortie one, and the 2nd fast one with the sixteenth sextuplets looks like fun to play also. I'm excited. But If I mess up that slow one I'm going to beat myself to death.

Hmm we have 325 enrolled in band- but thats an old count- But're only gonna march like...150..160? we have a butt load of freshmen coming in-ugh. Lol and we are 5A

Lol I thought I'd add this- Pearland is going to the Houston regional i'm pretty sure- we just haven't turned in our papers yet...Oops.
