Heeeeck no we just got rid of the LISD 3 here in area C, they’re yalls problem now. Lol. Imagine you’re basically fighting for 1-2 state spots every year, been there done that. Now all of our bands feel like we have a better chance at this thing!

It was an Honour chit chatting band with you guys this season. While I’m still in denial of our final placement (John Horn) I look forward to these kids redemption tour next year. 🙌🏿

Alright since everyone is doing it. Here’s my Musically literate, band dad, mostly unbiased predictions for Saturday 1. Duncanville, I was in the press Box last Friday when I saw their show, don’t know if that makes a difference but wow! 2. Waxahachie, I saw their show 3 Fridays ago. I mean it didn’t grab my attention really but musically their intonation was great, drill was great, performance was spot on and that’s all that matters 3. Forney, I only heard them at region and what I heard was spectacular!! Don’t know what their drill Is like solely basing it off of music 4. John Horn: hey I said mostly unbiased lmao 🤣 Sáchse, Rockwall, Heath, or north Forney might have a chance. I have not heard JJ Pearce myself. I guess I’m just basing it off of bands I’ve seen or heard live. And there you have it!!

I say we commission Jerry Jones to let us use the Star for marching competitions. TX HS bands is just as big in Texas as football and I’m tired of people pretending it’s not (Joker said it first right) nothing going on at that facility in the fall time anyway 🤷🏿‍♂️

Honestly. As a mesquite resident. Idk how that mall is still alive lol the sears is cleared out. We could perform in there !

This was literally Area C up until this year. Having to compete for essentially 2 state spots. If you really wanna check something out. Check out 5A area C set up. It’s still baffles me how they still get 4 state spots when only 14 bands took the field. I know the 6 military bands are in the area and opted out of area c but still I’d like for 6 bands to opt out on our end lol mostly I’m just jealous lmao
