From what I saw at US Bands Dallas, North Forney and Forney both look really good. Sachse's also having a strong season, I love their show theme and the music and visual are both really strong. Not really sure why everyone's placing Pearce so high, but I guess we'll see... No hate to any of these bands, just wondering.

Yeah, all the normal disadvantages of going early in the contest PLUS having a call time like that is gonna suck

RICHARDSON HIGH SCHOOL...that was a spectacular run. A thousand times better than anything else I've seen them do this season. That's a state band if they play their cards right. Bravo

I definitely agree with that… missed BOA Waco finals with an unlucky run (malfunctioning electronics plus some other things). I personally think that if they can get the details together, they’ll be a strong state contender—but holy, that tarp is a logistical nightmare. I think their battery drags their score down as well- it’s too big to be properly clean. Also, I don’t know how much this affects anything, but their uniforms really bring down the production level of the show… who let that one get through? What do you guys think of them this year? Also, if any of y’all saw their prelims run at Waco I’d love your opinion. They seem like an interesting wild card this year if they improve.

I don't think berkner looks nearly as strong this year. Also, I think we should take into account US Bands Dallas Regionals and how Richardson did there---that showing would def affect area standings. I'll wait until after BOA Waco to decide more---thoughts?

Felt like starting a convo...what are y'all thinking of Richardson this season? BOA/Area predictions after recent shows? I'm feeling like they'll be a wild card this year. I've been hearing good things
