I'd argue judges focusing on pit is what helped CR placed so high. Their pit book is no joke and those kids play it well. Plus, CR took 1st in perc in 2022. Their percussion is consistently shown to be very talented.

1) Reagan 2) Cedar Ridge 3) Bowie 4) Round Rock 5) CTJ/McNeil/DS -- Bowie/RR placement I'm unsure of just since it's been awhile since RR competed but they were next to one another at TMC Finals. I'm looking forward to seeing Reagan! I'm a little surprised at DS over Bowie both in UIL & BOA SA predictions since Bowie has continuously scored higher since BOA SM. Perhaps UILs judging will give way to DS to rank higher since GE isn't involved, they seem to be doing well musically given their won captions. Fingers crossed it doesn't rain!! 67% according to weather channel right now 😖

A tie would really be a crazy way to close the TX season but it's already been so weird. I would hate to be a judge for this years BOASA. I think I'd swap Leander for Bowie given their upward trajectory since BOA San Marcos and getting silver at Waco. It'll have been awhile since Leander competed but they had a .15 gap at TMC to Bowie so I could see them in contention for taking that final spot or Westlake, or Round Rock, or... 😵‍💫 it might just come down to GE between shows.
