  1. The Woodlands just came for BLOOD - top 3 beware
  2. This is the hardest list I’ve ever had to make: Hebron - Music Vandegrift - Visual Flower Mound - GE Vista Ridge The Woodlands Rouse Marcus Pearland Cedar Park Ronald Reagan Cedar Ridge Coppell Round Rock Westlake Groups I would not at all be surprised by: CyWoods, Leander, Dripping Springs, Forney, Seven Lakes, Keller, James Bowie, Waxahachie, LD Bell
  3. We have to have 2 finals at this point CYWOODS if we don’t see you tonight… meowch So much fun!!!
  4. there are SO many Pearland parents and supporters here … the energy is infectious and definitely adds to the atmosphere of their performance!
  5. Oh my gosh FORNEY!!! The crowd was going crazy for y’all at the end of your performance! Most exciting closer so far and a WELL deserved standing ovation - we could absolutely feel how much fun you were having performing! Bravo!!
  6. Marcus sounds great! I would tell you how they looked but this glare is quite blinding 😎
  7. Dawson flexing that honor band champion title - fantastic performance!! To me, Dawson is giving Hebron pre 2015 where once the visual is all the way put together they’re gonna be a POWERHOUSE.
  8. Good morning TW! After being in the dome all day yesterday, that was by FAR the hardest and most entertaining show of the competition! That GUARD oh my gosh!!
  9. Okay I said this as a joke but here’s how I think the bands would’ve placed if this WAS a one day competition Flower Mound - GE Vista Ridge - Music Rouse Cedar Park - Visual Ronald Reagan Cedar Ridge Leander Round Rock Keller James Bowie Westlake CTJ MG Johnson McNeil
  10. For real!! Maybe we can have multiple bands perform at the same time so finals can be the same length?
  11. Okay at this point it feels as though the “bubble bands” saw that we called them bubble bands and were collectively like “oh okay WATCH THIS” and have all absolutely thrown down trying to prove us wrong - this fight for finals is going to be TOUGH!
  12. Okay I’m newly converted what do y’all Rouse fans say?? Is this an appropriate for me to say Rouse House or is that only on special occasions pls lmk absolutely fantastic!!! medal contender in my eyes
  13. MCNEIL WHAT!!!!! Call me crazy but I would be 100% not surprised if we saw them again tomorrow. Talk about precision!! I was looking all over the field for a foot out of time and couldn’t find ONE! Forms moved together, beautiful ensemble sound, just WOW!!! Biggest pleasant surprise of the day by far!!
  14. Alright after Westlake my list for finals is almost full ! Thank goodness this is only a one day competition !
  15. For real! I just know that it’s gonna be tough for some really crazy good bands, so I want to make sure they hear that all their hard work paid off!
  16. MG Johnson!!!! That was incredible!! Powerful sound, united visual - an absolutely finals worthy performance!! Be so proud of the production you’ve put together, y’all were awesome!
  17. That's gotta be tough for Dripping Springs - receiving the music award and then an immediate 4th place. What a close 2nd to 4th!!
  18. Hey 1-5 twin! ... and on second thought I think I like your placement for Seven Lakes a little better than my own - they were truly great it's just so hard to jump up to the top 6!
  19. This was such a fantastic finals lineup - I've watched so many BOA finals and this may be the most even playing field from top to bottom I have ever seen! Almost all of my placements could be flipped by one or two spots. Incredible job to every band that performed tonight! 1. Cedar Ridge (Music, GE) 2. Dripping Springs (Clear Best Visual) 3. Bowie (POWERFUL show, GE very close 2nd) 4. Westlake (best Woodwinds every time) 5. MG Johnson (my personal favorite) 6. Aledo (such a fun show) 7. Timber Creek (could break into top half, very interesting show concept) 8. Seven Lakes (powerful sound, love the music selection) 9. Keller Central (was astounded that they were the first band to perform, great choreo) 10. Sachse (big sound, cool props and concept) 11. Hendrickson (loved their Earth Song ballad) 12. Burleson Centennial (cool props, lots of visual responsibility)
