top band at leander, we're playing symphony in Bb by......hindemith. MAYBE. we're still on a trial basis. if we end up not doing it, we're gonna do profanation by bernstein. but i think we're gonna go through with hindemith, i hope. then we have a march, pride of the wolverines by sousa and another piece, dance of the jesters by tchaikovsky. not really sure if we're playing the last two.

well, we havent had our first yet... ours was against converse judson. well first, we start on the visitors side of the track and march around to the home side. well the football team had their stuff on the track. it was cool, we thought, well, they dont kno. so then one of our directors goes and asks if they can move it. they say, no. THENNN, one of the coaches from OUR school comes and gets in OUR directors face and tells him to not to tell them what to do. so yea. then, after all that, we finally get to the home side. get in the stands and warm-up a little. we play the school song, then fight song, and put our instruments up cause it was gonna rain. THENNN, someone saw lightning, and then we had to leave the stands and go back to the band hall, for i dont kno, an hour and a half. the game didnt start back til 9.30, and the band had the choice of either going home, or going back, but just to watch and cheer. no instruments. so yea, interesting first game. so our first perfomance will be at the alamodome this saturday. exciting.

lets see.... for my solo, im playing recitative and rondino....then im in a sax. quartet, um....i think it was variations on a theme by sweel...somethin....

see, thats what we lack....the only time we talk to them is during eigth grade nite, those few football games our directors let them go to, why i dont kno, um....and a freshman camp...not really, its just some thing that they do @ their school that teaches them how to move two steps.......um...and the occasional lock-ins.....so yea...but we cant really do much about it, they'd go to the new school....hm....i just hope we do good @ BOA...hm...

Oh....and just found out that vista ridge is moving up to 5A sometime soon....yippe....for sure we know that they cant get any people taken from them....i think they sould take ppl from cp....i live like, 5 mins. from leander, im zoned for vista....vista is like, 30 mins. away from me....there mite be a slight chance that they could take ppl from cp.....or maybe even both.....who knos....

how lucky are we....my senior year, we would be going to state. but they're gonna open a new hs and take ppl away from us....so wut does that mean??? we get moved from 5A to 4A!!! cool...huh...: (....and what does that mean, that we dont get to go to STATE!!! 4A state is every other year. 09 would be that other year....im only going to state once....sooooo mad.....
