My Prelims/MAYBE finals predictions. Will have to see how it plays out with the two weeks they had to clean/clinics attended etc… It will be a close one. PRELIMS: (Maybe possible finals prediction. I’ll update the list if I see anything worth noting during prelims.) Only a couple of hours away until showtime… 1.ALEXANDER 2.EDINBURG 3.WESLACO 4.HANNAH 5.EDINBURG NORTH 6.UNITED 7.HARLINGEN/PSJA/LOS FRESNOS

It will come down to the wire. All of these schools have been working insanely hard all season. Many new concepts from a lot of them and some great consistency from others. I’m assuming judging will be very picky and hopefully accurate because a lot of times it won’t add up. Laredo schools (United and Alexander) filled two spots and Weslaco has been constantly falling short; I’m sure they’re hungry for it. It’s great to see Harlingen and Hannah picking themselves back up to revive their streaks and great to see Edinburgh getting some recognition as well. It’ll be a close race, let’s wait and see… praying bands have amazing performances!
