    Yes. I’m well aware of that. But that is one area I have always felt should be taken into consideration. It’s easy to execute good fundamentals, etc when your music is easy.

    My thoughts are the top 2 bands going to state were not the best ones. I honestly didn’t like Laredo’s show at all. And both of the top 2 bands had safe music. ENHS imo got robbed here, and I think Weslaco at least should have been above Los Fresnos, thats for sure. And yes, I may be biased being as my daughter plays flute for Weslaco. Their music was hard. ENHS and Weslaco consistently beat the other schools at previous competitions.
