  1. Drill pro is pretty good, I use it. It's nothing compared to pyware. It's a basic drill program.
  2. I wish I could write drill as cool as yours. but that's because I just got serious about it. and the program I use is cheap.
  3. but anyway, our top band is playing American Overture for Band by J.W. Jenkins And Javelin by Torke/Patterson. Javelin is hard. I've never had as many 16th notes on one page in my life. Hindemith Symphony in Bb is hard, but not as hard as Javelin. at least for Bari sax.
  4. duh. I like Hindemith. well, listening to it. playing it, that's a different story....
  5. haha. last year, we had a pass through, and I went through a trumpet line and the sousaphone line. our sousaphones were so crappy last year, they were held together with zip ties. anyway, one rehearsal, we did that set, and I was too far back, and one tuba was too far foreward. so we collided, and now I have a nice scar on my right arm. and this year, I got hit with one of the props, and got cut on my left arm.
  6. I liked Woodlands and LD Bells. which is funny because I usually don't like LD Bell shows. The Woodlands had the best arrangement for Profanation ever. R. Reagen can't compete with their 05 arrangement
  7. I hope none of those Richland pictures were from Prelims... that was a terrible run thruogh. but I like how we went from 21st to 10th to 9th
  8. Richland's drill is death-defying. We've had more people fall in the first two weeks of learning drill than ever before. and we got our closer drill about a week before San Antonio.
  9. yeah, we used our synth at UIL. but there wasn't anything talking about Generation Y. that's the only part we had to cut out. and that was a crappy performance. everything was slow.
