  1. I believe Greg Bimm judged state in 2003 for the 1A-2A-4A State Contest.
  2. Question, who was your "Thriller" arranged by? It sounds vaguely familiar to the one my band played last year.
  3. UIL needs field judges. PLEASE.
  4. marcus langham creek duncanville reagan bell berkner churchill coppell bowie akins
  5. If Westfield and Spring aren't big, big bands, then pigs must be flying... There has only been 5 bands that have won 5A UIL state, 2 of them are Westfield and Spring. C'mon now.
  6. No, they were just announced in alphabetic order. But I do know that in prelims it was: 1)Marcus 2)Bell
  7. Bands advancing to state: Haltom Hebron L.D. Bell Marcus Richland Alternate: Smith, Summit
  8. Area B Finalists: Richland-7:00 Summit-7:15 LD Bell-7:30 PESH-7:45 Hebron-8:00 BREAK Allen-8:30 Creekview-8:45 Newman Smith-9:00 Marcus-9:15 Haltom-9:30
  9. He just started last year, I think. Last year he also judged quarterfinals. He works somewhere in the DFW area and probably judges some band shows from time to time.
  10. Thats a pretty big bash on both trinity and argyle. If your band didnt make finals by less than a half point you would complain too. I guess you don't realize that Argyle is the reigning state champion. Trinity is a very strong band and I hope they excel in the future. See everyone in Arlingtion next week.
  11. Maybe the wider gap between The Cadets and the Bluecoats means that the Cadets are becoming more comfortable with their show or does anyone know if they added more drill yesterday/today?
  12. Gotham was portrayed really well in this movie. With the $72 mil. + that it has already brought in, hopefully Warner Bros. will put out another one, although I don't know what it would be about.
  13. And I thought I was the only one who thought that way. Anyways, BD and SCV are at the top of my list with Cadets, Crown, Bluecoats, and PR following close behind.
