Why is everyone hating on flutes.... Gosh. It isn't enough you can't hear us now you just got rid of us completely.. Jerks.

Gosh.. I can't wait for marching season to start again. It's the reason I stay in band. I hate sitting in a chair for an hour and a half everyday. As for my grades I have more time to procrastinate so my grades seem to slip a bit when I'm not in a crunch between sleep and marching. Haha. I always seem to get in trouble in transition between marching and concert I've already been called into my directors office, I think 4 times? I seem to lose count sometimes. I am just too opinionated I guess. Haha. Anyhoooo... I live marching season and that's all that matters. :]

I just have one question. Could someone please tell me what the flute player from Clear Brook who stood on that thingy was supposed to symbolize. I saw their show at BOA Houston and I saw her get set up there and I watched her thinking she was going to whip out this bada** solo but all she did was stand there at attention and then got off at the end of the show. Just wondering..

Leander's uniforms are soo old haha. Needless to say the sequence on our baldrics are less than shiny. haha

I'm pretty sure Grand National Finals were AMAZING!! I had the time of my life! The Eagle is back in TEXAS!

Last year one of our freshman bass clarinets lost their baldrick in the middle of the show(don't ask me how that happened because we have no idea how he managed that). That's not even the worst part because one of our other stupid freshman stopped and picked it up! We were at a competition by the way.

That's almost excessive! haha. I had my phone out taking pictures not videos though. I assumed my phone would never do the show any justice.

What about people with cell phones? Were they going that far as to stop those people? It's poor quality video but video none the less.

Band kids are usually some of the smartest kids in school. Leander is an IB school so a lot of band kids are in that program and if they can handle band and IB then almost anyone should be able to. =]

I fell once on the practice field because I had these huge steps to take backwards and the freshman behind me didn't take big enough steps so I stumbled on her and fell flat to the ground then got back up and kept on going. I only got my knees scraped a little bit and my ankle hurt a bit from being twisted a little. I couldn't stop laughing though. My only painful injury was my really bad heat rash I got summer of my sophomore year. I don't know if that counts as an injury but it looked really bad and hurt just as much.
