yea...ill second that wang. id never been so nervous that i felt like throwing up until yesterday

calm down marijana. no harm was meant. we really did come out of nowhere. making finals at every competition for the past two years has nothing to do with advancing to state in an area packed with amazing bands. it was a valid statement, especially considering this is the 5th year the school was open, we got the LAST spot, and we didnt have as good a finals performance as we did in prelims. oh, and to answer Mister Mims question, i go to centennial

i dont get offended but, there was this one girl who took offense to me and my friends calling ourselves band nerds. she wasnt even in band and we were talking about ourselves. i didnt get that....

Yes, they did introduce me as Zeus. But that was entirely them, not me. They gave me that nickname when we played them in band football. Thats just how they know me. lol

this summer i had my section get together outside of school and do pushups, situps, squats(weightless), calf raises, and running. it was actually pretty pathetic for some ppl(not all), but they improved from practically nothing to actually quite a bit for them

i believe they are both in Area A

me too...i grabbed some at the 7/11 on the way home from our practice...it was cold, extremely windy, wet, and, to top it off, i was stuck in shorts and a tshirt....lol, hot chocolate was welcome

well, this happened at the same game as mentioned above, which happened to be against our cross town rivals(whom i really like, lol), but someone from their band said "and if asked to choose between jessica biel and jessica alba, he would choose jessica biel." then everyone cheered. it was pretty funny. if it had been on our side of the field, i think our director woulda gotten mad.

i think they left it off for now just because its not an official schedule. im pretty sure he just wanted the band directors to have a general idea of when they would perform

the 20 bands going to area i mentioned earlier included ALL of the area B regions. 5 from r24, 3 from r25, 10 from r7, and i included the 2 from r5(birdville and seguin) because they take two bands from each region regardless of what rating they receive. so as long as nobody decides not to attend area, we will have 20 bands

not everyone in region 24 made straight ones. they all made ones...but some had a 1-1-2.

they take 1 band per 5 to go to area. at the moment, it looks as though we have 20(as long as no bands pull out)

thats if, no1 has pulled out by tomorro.
