for some reason that sounds extremely familiar. has that show, or one by the same name, been done before?

thank you for the compliment of placing us as the potential fifth. really is kool to have ppl say that. anyways, i think out of area B sherman is a shoe-in, but as far as the next couple spots go. the colony has pretty good chances at makin state imho. then for the next spot or two id say its gonna be between(in no particular order) centennial, southwest, birdville, and aledo(who ive never seen, so cant honestly predict accurately) but its anyones game. these predictions are just based on previous years, which in the end doesnt exactly affect this year. should be an interesting year. im lookin forward to it

oh, yea, i completely agree with you on that. its just that at the time that i posted that we were not cleaning or anything, we were behind and not lookin too hot. but it still makes me feel better,

i like animes, but im not sure i see how you could do a marching show with that theme.

or the centennial recordings may be up on our bands myspace soon. (dont quote me on that, i dont run it)

we were pretty consistent with our scores. i think my director said we got a 2,2,3,3,2. it mightve been a 2,2,3,2,2 though. i dont remember exactly what was said

any idea if theres a way we could see how close it was? i mean, i dunno if they use a scoring system or anything, id imagine theyd have to, but, if anyone knows itd be appreciated if ud let me kno. thx

Personally, I think that was our director's excuse(that the isd turned us down). I think he didnt want to gear a show towards BOA style. Also, I'd probably also have to agree with michael that most of our band hasnt been introduced to it(lol, im an exception, i followed it everystep of the way; thats where i thought id heard of connally).

Hey. I've heard that Connally is actually a pretty darn good program(and not just from this forum). i cant remember where i heard the name before. have you guys been in any big competitions lately? Oh. and who is the finals exhibition band?

ok. another centennial person here. what was said about our band being shocked that fossil ridge beat us-very true-but the shock was more from the fact that we beat you guys in two of the three major categories(i.e. music-centennial, marching-centennial, ge-fossil ridge) and then placed behind you. reasonable shock if you ask me. and its nothing personal. in fact, i know quite a few ppl in our band liked your show(video game songs wasnt it? i cant remember for sure). i just didnt want you guys to get the wrong impression about our band. as far as state goes for 4a, well, im gonna say Area B is gonna be a bloodbath. with sherman, birdville(i believe), the colony, centennial, and maybe one or two others it is gonna be a tough area. im gonna have to bet on sherman makin it to state as well as birdville. cant say who the third may be(assuming 15 bands will make area). then in the state competition i see poteet and sherman gettin up into the finals. id also include fossil ridge, friendswood, and another band that makes it outta area b in finals how are the 4a bands in south texas? i know there are some good 5a schools around san antonio, does the same go for 4a?
