Yea, the best players at our school are definitely the coolest people, not the stupid nerdy type that run around like OMG BAND ROXZORZ MY SOXZORZ. no. We have friends outside of band too, because we aren't considered band nerds. We are just good. We don't flaunt it like crazy, and we don't go around screaming about how awesome band is. We just play.

I disagree. We lack enforced discipline, yet we don't really have a problem with immaturity. I wish we were allowed to use it, but we are fine without it.

We aren't really allowed to assign pushups, only the directors, but I'm all for it. Some people just deserve/need to be punished to make them learn a lesson
