19! I've done some research (U.I.L.'s online organization skills doesnt help) and 19 made 1s last year and it wasnt even a state year. Hopefully more bands will trangress than digress and we'll surpass 20 to make area B just a tad bit easier.

I really think Lewisville will come out on top. While Lewisville may not be as respected as their neighbors, if I remember them correctly, they had a pretty gorgeous sound and can pull off a pretty good show as well. O well... we'll see saturday!

ooo sounds interesting. Although the name kinda throws me off. Cuz I first read "Urband Dances" and I was thinking stuff like breakdancing and bboying. Then came "Olympiata" and Whitacre and now I'm like... clueless again.

at all? I beg to differ. When I watched LD bells first half or so at HEB I was still impressed by their show. Their sets and music are still pretty difficult. Plus the colorguard design was pretty ingenious imo. I can understand not seeing it as having that "wow" effect like last year, but to me they still perform like the LD Bell everyone knows.

man... now I'm super curious to see what Frisco's show looks like. They're pretty much gonna have to spew magical goodness out of every hole they got...
