Haha you could see the Drum Majors were having a hard time holding back a smile after the third or fourth trophy.

Oh and omg. Their clarinet soloist... amazing. Being a clarinet player myself I pretty much yelled after he was done.

I was there. Haltom did really really well, altough I'm positive I've seen the exact same opening done by another band.

haha... we actually had a "dance competition" at our pep rally. Pretty much you had to dance to four different songs and they were the macarena, the chicken dance, that one song you hear at every HS dance "ONE HOP THIS TIME!... LEFT FOOT LEFT STOMP!...", and Soulja Boi. lol.

OH sorry for not making it clear. It's neither. It was at Pizza Hut Park (kind of famous stadium) and we were like way far away from the field and stuff. Nothing against sachse. I put them up for 3rd after all in predictions. lol.

Darn. Sherman should have gone to the Carrolton one. That way Carrolton would be like a complete area B (except for Birdville) preview and this one could have been like an area C preview (except for the three already mentioned).

!!! we listened to that (i believe its Gregorian Chant) in Music Theory! It was like ollllllllllld school music notations. 4 leger (sp?) lines and extremely different note shapes.

Well, personally, I nickname a whole bunch of sets, especially this year since I get to see everything. There's the bell set (duh), the missing no. set (from pokemon), the bird head/beak set, the vice grip set, and a whole bunch of other sets that are to remain nameless for now...

I don't think we beat West Mesquite last year... p.s. Sitting across the West Mesquite band is pretty fun. lol. They are a pretty awesome band to have a little "whos got more spirit" kinda game. The bands had a blast. They are one of the coolest to go up against.

Hey... I'll tell you this - things have definitely gone for the better. And stuff like I said earlier doesn't happen too often, but it still does. I believe this year is like a new beginning for our band/everything else relationship. Atleast at away games.
