I thought the movie was freaky... good, but really freaky. For some reason I have an odd fear of things that look like babies but aren't really babies.

Haha so this topic reminds me of something my AP Music THeory teacher told me. He said in his college music theory class (i think) the teacher would begin the day by playing the C major scale from C to the B. So pretty much he stops at the leading tone and it drives the entire class crazy. On exam day one student finished early and when he turned in his exam he went up to the piano and played the final the C and left class. I thought that was a pretty funny story.

Well I just like Nutcracker cuz Fantasia is one of my favorite movies ever. Although, they just had to give the mushrooms asian eyes... atleast it wasn't without reason. lol. And yes, I don't know about brass, but Hindemith is the hardest thing I've ever played in my life.

I don't even think "entertainment" is even the right word. Just something everybody and their sister can relate to. Seriously though, it would be really interesting to see how top BOA/State bands would do in this kind of thing.

I hate to say it man but 'cancer' is a really common term among band directors.

i think its cancerous? maybe. Seriously, i'm just guessing cuz then it would be like dangerous -same suffix. anyways. Our band director uses that term lol.

man thats brutal. I know our director might've gotten a bit po'd doing something behind his back, but kicking out six seniors including a drum major for a salute is just beyond rediculous.
