Haha we do have a kind of disproportionate low brass line, but our trombone section is one of the strongest sections on the field for us. It wouldn't do them justice to have all of them switch.

Ah that would be the SAT testing. Also, Pixel, I'd have to agree with you. I had a fair share of not so welcome encounters at the competition as well.

AAAAH! I didn't get to watch Allen, Martin, Senior, Dripping Springs... I had to sit in warm up area B from sherman warmup in prelims to the end of prelims, and I only got to watch most of the first block of finals. Oh I wonder if you saw me, Champion, at the warm up place. I was the guy just sitting there... I think i was taking a nap during your run. lol.

I have a comment. After the competition, the locker room smelled like hot eggs rotting inside over-cooked chicken. I know - disgusting. lol.

Omg that whole "DS, not Sherman" wow... I don't think I've ever witnessed something like that at a competition. I know if that had happened at the area B competition, someone would have been dead by the end of the night.

incase yall were wondering I was the guy just sitting there in half of the bands' warm-ups, keeping time. Oh and who enjoyed our little pre-exhibition show? lol I couldn't help but smile even though I probably wasn't suppose to. The kid who jumped the fence told me the judges laughed pretty hard, too.

Joshua really did pop out of nowhere, and what's funny is that Joshua was the last band from region 7 that we were waiting on to see if they had made 1s or not. Looks like there was no question about it.

I think she's making the assumption based off of competitions and ranking in relation to 4a power houses as well as some top-tier 5a bands. Aside from us, Centennial, I really do think Sherman, Aledo, and Poteet have a pretty good run for finals. Not that I'm saying we don't have a chance, but I'll definitely have to wait till the judges make the call.

I love Imogen Heap! All three times after watching mansfield and lewisville (twice) I played Imogen Heap on the way back home.

Well although it was quite a ways back Sherman did place lower than Allen in PLano East (I think it was at PE), so unless Allen peaked at a very, very early time, it'll be a tough run for the 4a bands to beat the top 5a bands. Also, I have no idea how Martin will do. I've never seen them before and I'm excited to see how they do.

I know wylie got 1st place in another comp after TOC, but I can't remember which. It was a pretty big one, too.
