Yea we cut the 4th movement this week because our show lasted 8:01 minutes on friday night so this week we're going to practice pushing the tempo and quickening the transfers of the show. BTW There's no way we're going 180... its gonna be more like 172, but still, it is a beast for us.

omg region today

The rule isn't THAT encouraging for us... cuz the smaller regions of area B are the ones with two of the 4a powerhouses... i.e. region 25 has sherman and region 24 has the colony. Plus boyd and centennial are in those regions. So pretty much for the sake of area B, more bands need to make it from region 7 and pretty much all of region 24 needs to make it.

Yea. I did know that. I just thought it was funny TCU played it after us. Not because of us. Just after. There, things are cleared up now.

Ben I sense... hostility. Does this have to do with the golden triangle competition we went to? Or was it the plano one. I forgot. I do remember it was the place with the really awesome hand dryers. They were like freaking jet engines.

Haha then we wouldn't be able to hear the results, which would result in major poundage of our buttocks.

HAHA OMG... when I first read your entry I thought it said "alteast my pants starts with an M" But if that standridge announcer guy at area... man if he does any sort of dramatic pause or some crap like that I'm going to freaking pee my pants.

Wow that's... dang. that's super scary. Actually we have a pretty good story, too. My best friend (ddmwingz) and a few others were playing catch. He jumped and caught the ball and landed on his catching arm and I believe you could've heard a crack or snap... Well when he got up he was asked if he was ok... stuck his arm out... and it pretty much flopped over halfway through his forearm.

Hey I'd have to say our band makes a pretty good band football team. I'd challenge you guys except... I don't know where westfield is and I'm trying to stay away from playing football since I broke my collarbone last time.

Well I mean PHP isn't that bad. Non-marching wise its an awesome facility. MLS games and many major Rock/Country concerts are held there. Its definitely more than decent. Marching-wise its just something many aren't use to.

Seriously. If only three are allowed to pass next weekend... man. I just can't imagine that happening.

Most of the bands we (frisconians) don't know about are from region 7. Here's a list (not sure if it is accurate) that made ones last year and are a part of area B.
