Goooooooo Blue Stars!!!! I screamed yesterday when their score was announced in theaters and even more so after seeing their show on the web cast tonight. This corps has done amazing things. Now my fingers are crossed for Phantom!

They canceled all of our practice for today. Storm was supposed to hit us hard, but it changed paths overnight and went more north, kinda like Rita. So we got spared again. Still cloudy and windy. Not much rain, but we are getting a few rain clouds every once in a while. Rehearsal is scheduled back for tomorrow for us.

So I'm thinking about colleges and stuff and I was just wondering what yalls opinions on Texas college bands are. My two that I'm really interested in now are UofH and Baylor. Basically, I'm really bored and need something to do.

Oh, I didn't mention how funny he was either. He seems to think hes smarter, cooler, and better than me. What a comedian!

My section has 7 freshman this year. The most we've had, like ever... And they are all awesome! They are incredibly fast learners and actually like to get better. It's wonderful. Don't really know about any of the other sections. Haven't really had time to watch them.

I met my best friend through here. Although he lives like..uh.. 400? miles away hes still my best friend. Haven't actually met him, not yet at least. But we text/talk on aim all the time. He's my only friend that is always there for me. Thank you so much txbands! This site rocks! =)

So today was our first day of summer marching. And because of this stupid hurricane/tropical storm, we have to cancel practice tomorrow. Today was such a great practice! Grrr. Stupid weather.

I'll be there with my boyfriend and hopefully a lot of other people from my band. Webster Cinemark 18

If you get there early enough. Should I skip an hour of practice to go see the show next week in theaters or just be late to the theater?
