Is it just me, or do these contests seem to become more and more monotonous every year lol. It's always so cool to see the new shows, or new uniforms, etc., but it seems for a while now, things pretty much are predictable. It'd be cool if from year to year the placements and things were completely different than the year before. Of course I understand that won't happen, seeing as that would require every band to be on the same level, but it'd be cool .

i don't think it should matter so much what the judges say, because we all know that its such a delicate process that we can't actually understand what is going through their heads at the time... they must have some reason for what they do and hence must be respected even if we don't agree with it... so, i think it should matter how you think you did, and if you did aamazing, well, then yes, you may be upset by what the judges thought, but does it really matter in the end??? congrats to all the bands that performed. it was a great accomplishment already getting there and extra congrats to the finalist bands!!! can't wait for two years from now!!!

in my opinion, the locks are Hebron, L.D. Bell, and Marcus, and the last two spots are up for grabs by about 6-8 other bands... man this is a bloodbath... but anything can happen, so good luck to everyone tomorrow!!!

really...? i don't think marcus even stands close to bell, just my personal opinion. i was in coplete shock at what happened at 5a state two years ago... i dunno, just really disappointed, and a little with marcus' show this year too, though i still gotta give them major props on their music (they freking play like a concert band on the field!), but other than that... meh and on another note... i LOVE argyle so much!! they really impressed me at the last contest i saw them at (i think birdville) \my jaw actually dropped in thier show can't wait to see the Area B contest this weekend too! im gonna set myself up in a seat and avoid moving all day!!! i cant wait to see bell and hebron!!! good luck to all the participating bands!!!

gotta say... i kinda agree with Andi too... but i won't go into it, just that i see it a lot in smaller, yet kinda wierdly reoccuring chunks...

lol. i freaked out too, but then as i got further into the thread i saw that they hadn't gone yet. man was i relieved!

pshh... sleep is SO overrated... jk... gotta commend all the bands that did so well with no sleep
