I think this needs to be a contest with a lot of overthrowing... it's time for a new age. I can't wait for the contest this weekend!!! Hope to see some amazing performances by all the bands.

Hebron is pulling out some cool stuff this year, or so I've heard. I don't know any details yet, but it will certainly be very interesting...

JIKAJAZZ i will say one thing to your temper tantrum, just because i have an opinion that you dont like or that you dont agree with gives you absolutly no right to say anything bad about any organization, cuz seeing as we already know where you go, it makes you lokk even worse. and before you go off spouting ideas, take some consideation about who reads these forums and ill say this... dont settle problems with bashing and arguing... settle it on the field

those are all very true, but what do you think about lets say.... (thinking)... Hebron, Creekview, and all the other such bands in the same area as Marcus, Haltom, and LD Bell do you think they're being overlooked because of their high ranking competitors? and do you think its the same in other areas as well across the state?

There's already a forum about the best bands in the state. So what i want everyone to discuss here in who they think the top RISING bands in the state are... ( in all the sections 1A 2A 3A 4A 5A and say in which youre talking about)

i dont think ther's any real comparison between LD Bell and Marcus LD Bell has amazing marching, themes, music, visuals etc., all the time Marcus has that too, just it seems they play during less complex drill, and march harder during times they dont play, never together, which bores me too and dont get me wrong, i still give marcus their props, its just Bell is on a completely different level at this point in time i just think more consideration when talking about these things has to be given to the complexity of the show, which i personally think some of the up and rising bands, especially in 5A, for whichdont get the credit they deserve for now, LD Bell is at the top of my list, because they have always had consistently amazing shows

i think a lot of people are gonna be surprised by the outcome of this contest there may just be some people who suprise you...
