  1. I second that notion... maybe less crying and more punching holes in the wall though. Heck, my brother's done it, one of my close friends did it... I think i'm about due for a hole in the wall. Woah... Why are the people I live around so violent?
  2. Honestly, I'm putting alot of hope into those bands that have trouble getting to the division 1 rating. Every band can have a good show or a bad show, and I bet some of those bands that get the ol' 2 are ready for a 1 as well, and maybe they just need a little more cheering. Why not? Let's all cheer for those bands that usually get the scoffs when "HIGH SCHOOL: 2" is called out and give em' all a little more of a cheering squad. We all want them to do well and so do they, so let's give a hand to everyone and hope for the best. Maybe a miracle will happen and we can have 25 go to Area. Not bloody likely, but possibly (just not a safe bet).
  3. When I look at that Area B schedule, I looked first at Frisco, The Colony and Seguin. Frisco first, Centennial last... Looks like the hometown's rounding off the day. And then, I saw The Colony and Seguin so close together. If (god forbid) Stephenville and Alvarado don't make it to area, then we got a head-to-head brawl there. It could be good for either of them... or the rest of us B'ers. The same scenario applies to Southwest and Sherman if Polytechnic (please no) doesn't make the grain. And it could even be the same for Birdville and Centennial if (please, God, NO!!!) Western Hills, Crowley, AND Everman don't make it. I see that the least likely to happen... Sherman and Southwest could very well happen. It's gonna be insanity for everyone regardless.
  4. Thank you guys for the quick response. I'm bad at looking for things, so that helped me quite a bit. You should see me when I need a clean pair of blue marching socks...
  5. I'm glad we got rid of that Woodwind/Brass class concept too... it really was a hinderance. But on a completely unrelated note, can anyone link me to something I've been looking for (I've seen them before but I can't find them anymore on this site...)- the order of Area bands for Area B (I remember we are last...). I'd be very thankful if someone could!
  6. I just about got angry at you for saying Frisco is dumb in any fashion, then I remembered "oh yeah, he goes to Wakeland, he can say that... because he's right." All is well. And wow, Boyd is going 5A... how many people are in your band program again (to anyone who is in Boyd)?
  7. Haha! It's Benjamin. Trombone player... your band... Ring any "Bells!"?
  8. I don't think they do... but I think we should start. Definately.
  9. Yeah, that's a pretty good idea. I wish we could have done that in our band instead of two hour rehearsals after school, but we have this block schedule thing that throws almost everyone off if we were to arrange that... we'd have about 3/4ths of the band every other day... confusing But it does help with homework... two days to figure out AP Physics is really helping me out this year.
