all right then... in any case, I think that we as a band have made significant strides over the last few months and have an excellent shot at the top. However, I suppose that is up to the judges.

I'm not trying to come off as arrogant-- rather proud of what my band has accomplished over the last 4 months.

The fastest we go in our show is 172 at the very beginning. Our closer is at 160, which is still pretty tough because at that point you are pretty tired and your chops want to give out.

I don't think that it was the fact that Allen peaked early, it was the fact that we peaked late. We are marching an exceptionally hard show this year, which required a lot of extra effort for us to get down. Now, however, I am sure we will come in a good spot on Saturday.

I can't believe it! Aside from us (Sherman) getting first in the Area, Birdville, suprisingly enough, is actually 1st alternate! Second place is Aledo, third is The Colony, and BARELY getting a spot, Centennial nabbed fourth. That was quite the competition.
