as some of you may know i play bass clarinet anyways..this summer i decided to learn how to play alto sax on my own with a little help of my little brother who will be going into his third year of band next year i learned how to play the cromatic going up today.. 1 problem though...i cant get the low notes to come out nicly..like from Bb to like G it just either sounds like trash or i cant get it to come out... some of this could be to blame on my poor ambusher...but are is there anything else i can do ..to myself..the reed..the instrument to get the notes to come out easier and to sound better?

im not much of the movie maker but when i make movies i use sony vegas 6.0

so i got a copy of it but... im having trouble actually writing music is there a way i can get a staff or something lol can i get more instruments? is there a way i can write the music in finale and render the midi in FL Studio? and tutorials are welcome thanks

^no u can only advance on 1 (u would get to choose) as for playing eb and Bb... i play bass clar and played contra for region (different key - harder to play) but basically the same instrument

^not all regions allow multiple instruments - i know mine doesnt or id tryout on clarinet, eb, alto clar, contra-alto plus eb and Bb - meh kinda same instrument there but Ttrumpet - thats cool play alto sax and trumpet imma try to learn alto sax this summer

as yall may know i play bass clarinet i have a younger brother (going into his 3rd year in band) who plays alto sax i pick it up and play random stuff every once in a while (dont exactly know the fingerings and such..but ya) ---------------------- how many ppl here double on instruments? like clarinet and sax or something (not like clarinet and bass clarinet which both have same fingerings)
