blue shades! oh my gosh, another band at our school is playing that, and i really wish i was in that band instead of honors, lol you had a really good program, i love all those pieces and that skit sounds like a lot of fun oh wow, orchestra. i've been in orchestras before, for region and area bands. i felt so out of place among all the strings! (and they are all asian!) tehee anyways, being second best in the entire state is so cool... but it figures with the judges. our school has a problem with judges as well

our winter concert? lets see... we played the first four movements of enigma, which you should look up. its pretty cool, and one of our uil pieces and then, we played magnum mysterium (which is a slow piece) and played sleigh ride, my favorite christmas piece ever! what about you?

hey, i just watched the 2006 show, and i really liked it. the music, the drill was all really cool, and i especially like the brass ensemble. i really liked that a lot!

i just watched the first one from 2007. i really like your theme! it was cute it sucks that you lost so many people. i can't imagine what our band would be like if we didn't have our director with us... the good thing about easy drill is that you can make it very clean, and yours was so thats good how did this show do at competitions?

i agree with rpd when you are out on the field sweating and playing your heart out, i don't think you can debate that marching is a sport and art rolled into one

hey, i'm a flute/picc player from cedar park. where are ya'll from? i know this was started for last year, but you're right, there aren't a lot of flutes players on this site. i'm going to area on piccolo, so do any of you know what the competition is going to be like? i've never gone to area before, and this is my first year trying on picc, so idk how good everyone else will be. is anyone from your school going, or has gone in the past, so i know what i'm up against, and are any of you going?

thank you our band tries to help everybody out as well. in the mornings before class starts, there are tons of band "study groups" huddled together working on homework and stuff in the cafeteria. it works really well, b/c you have people in band that already took the class and know how to do the work, and most are more than willing to help out so that everyone can stay on the field

I go to Cedar Park, and I really hate that this is happening. At my school, band students are usually some of the best students in the entire school! As long as you don't go home and play video games instead of doing your homework, it isn't that hard to get good grades in marching season, and the friendships made during that time will last all year. I really hope the commitee won't make us change anything!
