I just wanted to tell all the bands that made it to state good luck on tuesday. It really means a lot to me that my band made it this year because I think it has finally hit me that this is the end of high school marching for me. Some advice to you all is make tuesdays performance your best or it won't mean nothing at all.

Dickinson beat La Marque's football team last night 43-22 with the first two touch downs in the first 3 or 4 minutes of the game. This was the first time La Marque has been beaten that badly since 1989. Dickinson is now 8-1 and is going to playoffs.

I know how that is. Our show was similar to that last year but now our Intro is 180. It's all about getting in shape.

It took us a lil' time to get it down but once you get going, you are really going =]

210 is semi jazz run it's possible. Dickinson goes at 200 in our closer and 194 for the rest of the closer

I think everyone is going for that one last push this week. Dickinson started monday night with an inspirational speech from our directors. I feel as if we have that hype of the alumni when they were in the state award winning band. I hope everyone gets through that big hill this week and push it through. =]

I'm a lil' disappointed that Dickinson won't be able to see all of Poteets show. I can't wait though to see the results in the end =]

I think it could be good and bad, just depends who likes what you have. I'm pretty sure it'll be a good thing for everyone. To get a new point of view on things.

I kinda feel sorry for LCM performing 1st. I wouldn't want to.

Bad knees and ankles from marching the tempos we go. I also have this outrageous jazz run move at 192 or 194 in my closer and it's freakin' impossible considering i'm only about 5'1/2", anyways I ended up hitting the set but when I stepped off to jazz run in the other direction I rolled my ankle. This happened yesterday at practice, which kinda sucks since area is tomorrow. Other than that I have asthma which acts up but really isn't an injury.

I can't wait to see if your predictions will come true =]
