I did not make the trip to The Woodlands. However, it appears to me that a few people posting negative thoughts about a band that marched with only freshman and sophmores at it's first BOA- need to spend a little more time practicing for San Antonio... I bet the kids from Vandegrift are I believe that SFA deserves a huge congrats!!! I wish great things for those kids in both San Antonio and Indy!

Works well for me. I have special interests with Travis and SFA and they are 1.5 hours apart. It's a shame The Woodlands are not in this competition, SFA would love to have the chance to take back what they lost in Pearland.

S.F.A. will not be attending Area. If you attend Area you must be willing to travel to San Antonio for Finals and they decided to pass on the extra trip this year. BOA favors Austins music and marching more and will be top priority for the band going forward.

I am impressed with the progress of Travis. This being the first year of having Seniors, the band is coming together really well. If you look at Michaels scores for Prelims, he had you guys in Finals at the 9th spot. It is never easy to follow in the footsteps of a sister school like SFA, sometimes patience is the hardest thing to maintain. Keep working as hard as all of you are. You have an enjoyable show and an opportunity to get better this Saturday at The Woodlands and then in San Antonio.

Dude- 3:00a.m.????? Are you a night owl or what? I like your order of placement. I am still hoping for a SFA repeat. Knocking off the defending national champs would be Awesome.

Michael, How do you see the top 5 ending as?

I agree completely! The music is very difficult and the formations are quick and impressive. I do know that they are adding some more visual effects this week. I could not believe how far along they are with missing 6 day's of practice.

I was at the show last night as well! They have fine tuned every detail of this show. Can they beat the #4 placement from 2004?

I apologize if this has been asked before, I am a new member and love reading all of your thoughts. Now that San Antonio is over, what do you think that the rankings are as of today for TEXAS bands going to GN?

Out of site, out of mind. Don't forget SFA! Many think that they could have a better show than The Woodlands, Reagan and even Bell.
