I don't get it...what am I missing?

I don't wanna give to much away about our show either =P. I can say the whole thing is centered around one piece, and it will be pretty opposite from this year. There will be lots of woodwind stuff =O

I don't know if you wanna give it away to others, or if your band directors let you, but I just thought if you know anything about next year's show you might wanna share.

Ahhh!!!!!!!!!!! These lists make me so excited for marching season!!!! XD I can't wait. Arlington will be like a mini-super regional. (If were refering to just the finals part.) I'm also very excited about the line-up for houston. Don't get me wrong, I like having major competition like the two best in the state, but it'll be nice not to have a shoe-in for first place. I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, I think we've got a really good lineup this year. We're not very good at watchman yet, becuase we've mostly been rehersing the other two for the midwest submission, but from what I can tell it's a very beautiful piece.

Good. I'm excited to see if they can pull off as great quality shows as they did back in the day, if not better.

I don't really remember the Composers very well...because I don't pay attention to that stuff, but here goes. Cedar Park's program: Rolling Thunder - Philmore ( I think ) Dance Movements - (Forgot..) Watchmen Tell Us of the Night - (Oh you know)

We do too it's really dumb. Like whenever we go on long trips we can't talk until we reach the highway. (I think it's because our drum major was on her period though O.o)

Yeah, that's the main reason he said he was leaving. It's funny though because he said he's still designing our show. And who knows, we might be better, becuase the guy that's taking over is second in command to the Director of SCV.

Well I wouldn't really consider it better...becuase he was second band director at one of the top school in the state, and now he's going to be one spot higher at a brand new school, that is going to be nowhere near as good. Doesn't seem like a positive. In the words of my lesson teacher: I would rather be the crap of the cream, than the cream of the crap.

I hope something like that doesn't happen to our school..I'm from Cedar Park, and next year our head marching band director is resigning, and our school is branching off...

Now there's a topic I do not understand. I see all these videos of like Westfield doing amazing at marching in the 90's, and people talking about them being the best band of that era, but I never hear about them making finals in any major competitions lately. What is the deal? Did they get a major staff change or something? Or did they just stop caring as much?...
