since we went last in finals it started to get so cold they let us go into the tunnel really early

iceeblue chill this a conversation between me and this person from Sherman. stats prove what i said previously. we beat them four straight times there was no disrespect its just fact. i might of not been as tactful as i should but its true.

ya true that. i had some ppl tell me that poteet shouldnt of been first that connally did play better than them. but with poteet there just so big. man everyone should come down to Dripping Springs and Dickinson size. see whats up.

been screwed for years? they've been great since ive been in high school. two years ago they were in state finals as well they havent been screwed for years. just the way there show is made its designed to do well in the UIL judging format. thats why they dont always do great at other contests. probably why we beat them at westlake.

congrats by the way on making it to state finals last week.

but i did see them all year. like i said there and amazing band and im not bashing them. i just think hendrickson deserved a higher placement

ya it was like a 5 hour bus ride. thats why our prelims performance was bad. we thought we didnt make finals cause we were sure that sherman had just smoked us and when they announced they were seventh everyone was looking around in shock. we have never not made it to finals at a contest like that. then the said in fourth dripping springs we went nuts. then the whole judge mix up was comical. sherman was probably mad about that one

dripping springs is about 20 min out of austin

i really enjoyed this contest and being able to see all the giant dallas area bands. i hope we get to come back next year.

i didnt get to see connally's performance in finals but i was in the tunnel for most of hendricksons. We also competed against connally all year and there is nothing about there show that was better than hendrickson. i understand that perfection out ways difficulty. but its not that hard to perfect london bridge is falling down. if im not mistaken we all learned that in 6th grade if not earlier. i dont agree with dumbing down your show just so you can get it clean enough to do well in state. take a chance. do something challenging. and as far as the issues go i know what you mean. our finals performance sounded tired to me.

i seriously disagree with Hendricksons placement. they were amazing and there music is much more challenging than connally's. they also marched a higher level of difficulty in there drill than connally
