Well I saw one in New Jersey, while I was there. And there is a reason they dont get a P.E. credit for it. Like some, just walk out there play. then play the fight song and walk off. btw skippy. Im almost 100% positive that isnt true. Unless we are talking about guys.

Word... Like, in drum corps... you don't even have to make decisions. That sounds bad I guess. But, it's so awesome. They tell when and how to do everything. You just have to wake up, eat breakfast, goto practice, eat lunch, goto practice, goto show, listen to directions, eat dinner, get on bus, goto sleep. EVERY DAY! It's amazing. and on top of that, there isnt drama (in a high school sense)(the guard being an exception), backstabbing, forgetting homework, taking tests, making money. It's just you living with 134, or now, 149 of your brothers and sisters, getting sweaty, tan, and beastly(or crippled in some cases). on the cell phone thing. In all seriousness, I think I would have died without my phone. If I didn't get to call my mom and my best friend, I probably would have shriveled up and died. Meeting people and having fun are what buses and free days are for.

Personally, I like DCI not being BOA. BOA is entertaining. But, If I wanted to see this kind of stuff I would goto BOA Grand Nationals, not the DCI World Championship. Most corps are still looking for members. If you email some brass caption heads you could probably get a tryout. : ) and if you pick one of those two or so corps you can always go buy a pre-paid phone at best buy or radio shack. btw.

No, I just have a bad cold. lol. seriously though. I have to agree with EVERYONE. I know that DCI is labeled an activity. I think that's a good name. Since it is athletic, but at the same time it's extremely intellectual. Even though everyone can fight over most names EX. "Fine Art" "Sport". But you can't really argue whether it's an "Activity" or not. that's just fact.

I think we are fighting about agreeing. But, it's past performance, and announced show concept, forum rumors, personal bias... all in good fun mate.

There are always exceptions. He is just saying... If a corps which has been rising in popularity and getting better every year, it's a good chance if they are still in the middle they can keep going up. Ex. Colts But at the same time I agree. Once you get into the elite groups..."momentum" doesn't play a big factor. I mean, after Faust, many people thought Reg would kick butt. They didn't and no amount of momentum can help their low brass. poor catholic school boys... they have nothing. "Better Every Day" "...worse every year." : (

I apologize to the Rowlett band. Any statements made in a demeaning manner were not purposely aimed, to the band specifically. Rather, to a certain individual from the program I was frustrated with. My sincerest apologies to the band program and it's students. Yes, this post was brought on by the deletion of one of my comments for "'bashing' the rowlett band on numerous occasions." But, I came across the deletion of my comment through coming to apologize here on my own accord. I have mis-represented my school, and other organizations I participate in, and again I am sincerely sorry, and wish no one takes after my actions.
