um the high tomorrow here is gonna be 21. and on monday the high is gonna be 13. yay for snow though!

I think its harder in band simply because you have more chances with football. You get a chance to make state every year with football. with band you have to wait a whole year between state years. If you have a bad year, you have to wait another year and wait to see if the following year you have a good show. I dont now, its just that i think football players have more chances to make it.

it is hard...you just have to use "ta ka" like previously said...its much easier on bari however. As for flutter tounging...I always used to do it in high school messing around..hurts if you cut your tongue, but if you do it lightly it wont cut (that much) lol. Just dont do it all the time

There was always this one guy in the Bari room from roosevelt i think? Well anyway he would just distract all of us in the room and just do funny stuff and slap the reed with his tongue when he would audition. haha omg. ok, last year in the alto room there was this one kid. haha, so he would go play and it sounded like a beginner and on the last one (fastest) he went up there sat down, and started playing. well, i think he was going a little bit too fast and got carried away. this kid was like quadruple tounging lol it was soo funny cause it sounded like a machine gun. nonetheless, the whole room was busting out by the time he was done. funniest region audition of my high school career. oh yeah, he got 2nd to last

typical lockers with the bars on then like in those pics...we all changed in the bathrooms though. It got pretty crowded. You just had to get in there early to get a spot with the bench and hangars, or else you were standing in the middle just changing with your stuff on the floor. Oh and you always had that one person who would go in the stall and shut the door and what not...i laughed. Now, in college its just all change in the room

lol...i remember when i was a freshman, they made me march trumpet (which i knew like 2 notes on.) So i had to fake the whole show. Let's just say, I was a strong marcher and only played two notes the whole show...pretty crazy

I remember in 05, they used these alternates to hold the orange streamers in their sleeves. I think its nice that they let them do stuff though

aww, you should go. Those cruises are awesome...i went on both my sophomore and senior year. they were pretty awesome. But if you wanna save up, i guess its the smart thing not to go . Maybe I should start saving up for GN next year too lol
