Our drill writer uses pyware...it's really easy when it comes to learning drill because we get a copy of the drill (as said above) printed out and we find our letter & number (S1 for example)

Haha...when you guys came on I was screaming like crrraaaaaazy. You'll probably hear me on the recording. lol, it was so fun. I also saw you towards the end of the show on the right (I assumed it was you b/c you were really tall and you were playing French Horn lol). But yeah, I'm still amazed by the performance you guys put on, congrats. Every chance I got I told the SFA parents how classy and great their kids were. P.S. I don't believe Marcus should have received music performance. (no offense), I truly thought Reagan or Richland would get that one, but oh well....

Last night's finals was amazing!!!!!!!! Personally, I believe Richland and Churchill should have been way higher. Richland's "Sleep" was beautiful, that did it for me. Reagan did awesome as always and got what they deserved. Churchill was amaaaazing I dont think I saw one guard mistake. I put them a few places higher. Marcus was good, but I dont believe they deserved that high of a score, but I'm not a judge, so... I am amazed by SFA they are soooo classy and I absolutely loved their version of "Medea" absolutely amazing, way to go SFA! Overall, last night was AWESOME I am sooo glad I had the oppurtunity to go and see all these amazing bands. Congrats to all

You are sooo lucky. lol. I didnt have the chance to do anything that big in my high school career, but I still had a great experience.

yeah...the 7th/8th graders were real excited. One was like "are you first chair or something, cause you're really good" I was like thanks! lol...it was fun, this was our first year doing that kinda thing

Ummmmm, I'm gonna have to say Ticheli...it touched me more than Whitacre's I love the music of both, but on this one it's all Ticheli.

Well, there were some funny parts and some REALLY bad parts So, we had the junior high with us in the stands (really uncomfortable) b/c we they had to sit in between us for the first half, and we could barely talk to our friends. So, anyways, in the first half, our star player got injured and broke his leg, so that was a really bad thing, so that kinda ruined our hopes of winning b/c it was our biggest game so far, but we ended up winning after all which is good. Ok, so at half time the junior high went out with us and we played the dance team song (just high school) and then we played Peter Gunn with the Junior High and umm it was bad! lol but it was funny, so then after that we (high school) had to do the last half of our show. Starting on our "ballad" was really dumb IMO lol, so we did the last two movements, boy was it funny. It sounded really bad from my perspective, but the crowd liked it so whatever lol. OMG the other band did their show (Picasso or something) and it seemed like they took 45 minutes. They left us with like 7 minutes left in half time to do all our stuff, it was bad. lol. That was our eventful and BAD game.

I know most of the 5A groups got a 1 reagan churchill clemens seguin judson those are the ones i know for sure...i dont wanna post wrong results for those i dont know for sure, so... lol

My favorite- "Bring your own water bottle so you can take a little personal break if you need it"...someone steps out to take a break..."WHAT ARE YOU DOING? GET BACK IN THE FORM! WAIT FOR THE NEXT GROUP BREAK!...It'll be like 5 minutes" 30 minutes later "ok, take a five minute break" (which translates into a 2 minute water break, a whistle, and one minute to get back. oh and the classic- "one more time" (x50)

lol...similar story as follows: ok, first game last year. However long drive to Waco (from Schertz/SA). So we get to Luby's to eat and all that and the restroom situation was fine, and then we got to the field . And what happened?....you guessed it... a STUPID bass clarinet girl decides to go to the bathroom (#2) right when we got there...on the BUS, not at the STADIUM RR. How stupid! ok, so after the game we got on the bus and it smelled nasty!!!!!!!!!!! and it was already 11ish when we left and the stupid ppl on the bus decided to put on this movie called "ants", not the animated one...this one is in black in white that featured SCREECHING ants for about 2 1/2 hours!! while the bathroom was leaking water and smelling nasty, and of course all the "cool kids" in the back A.K.A me (right next to the bathroom mind you) had to sit there, nauseated for 2+ hours smelling nasty butt crap. And meanwhile there is this band mom who decides to whip out some smelly stuff to "put on your upper lip so you wont smell the nasty stuff". Well, that only gave people headaches and make ppl MORE nauseated, while trying to sleep and not being able to because of SCREECHING ants on the dumb tv! Worst bus ride everrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!! Well, that girl is no longer allowed on my bus. EVER!! oh yeah, the bus driver tried that stuff too in the toilet...and it didnt work...5+ smells together just doesnt work!

Definately this year....at the beginning of the year it was like oh ok, a little harder than usual. But now since the show is done, it is uber-hard! I mean dang, doin 186 bpm last movement is gonna kill me...and we still havent added visuals but we'll see...I'm actually liking the workout

Does anyone have a video of Churchill 04? I really wanna see it...I got to see it person, but would love to see it again. Either BOA or State Finals would be nice. Thanks a bunch

I am actually really really sad! It just hit me too. I am gonna miss all the early morning practices and ESPECIALLY the football games...the rush of performing in front of thousands of people at games and contests...the people I have to leave...hopefully I will be in band in college so maybe the fun will continue...although I cant wait till May '06...its gonna be bittersweet...from being a freshman- scared, learning sets for the first time...to being a sophomore- knowing what to expect, teaching others a little...to being a junior- really knowing what to expect, teaching a lot...to being a SENIOR- knowing it will all end soon, taking every moment as it comes...Class of '06...THE BEST SENIOR CLASS EVER!!!!
