we;ve got up to set 16 today. playing and marching. still 8-8 until next week when it goes to 5-8 just evening rehersals can't wait

well that will defintely be one of if not the nicest stadium for a while. have yall seen it lately i go by there about once a week. it is amazing

yeah well we never did that. yeah it just sounds retarded hearing woodwinds that loud, esspeically one or two players, its pretty easy to tell. anytime we needed to feature the woodwinds or small groups as a whole we just pulled them up to the front sideline or even off of it to a stationary mic

how is legacy's show coming along?

really? i would repeat it even if i had a choice not too. but yeah band is definitely unique hard to explain

two years ago our show "spotlights" featured soloist in the middle of the field on a big spotlight. They had wireless mics and UIL did not do anything about it at the area competion. went on to get 6th in finals so im assuming it is legal haha

nooo! they're not on the whole time. just solos because i mean really you can't hear a flute solo and its an alternative to having them go to the front sideline. but year its perfectly legal

yeah im not a big fan of all the electronics. but my band does it. all of pit is on mics basically and the majority of the top woodwind players on wireless mics. boy theose things are expensive too. not worth it in my opinion
