Hey mark your calendars! november 1st! 2008 DMI Who all is going??? Just wanna see, it is usually a very tough competition with tons of really good bands. I know we are going again . ( mansfield summit) feel free to let us know if you are, and thoughts of past competitions!

haha okay., umm because they're fish! don't worry mine were the same way at fish camp earlier this summer. now i get to teach them all over again aug 4! should i be the nice guy or the guy who just wants to get things done?

i'd like to see wylie step it up and make it. I mean they went from being an okay band to a true contender this past year. I've seen them at contests and there nothing short of amazing. Even though they are in area B ( along with my band) haha i'd like to see them do something. and i wouldnt put it past them. their new director todd dixon, is a genius. really hurt when he left my school for theirs! but we'll see!

I know it is super early and some camps havn't even started yet. And I know there are already topics on this. I just wanted to start a new one, for the start of the new marching season. So I want to to know everyones opinions. Based on last year and the year before. Who has what it takes to make it to state. Will it still be the big name bands? What bands are rising and may become contenders this year? Any opinions are welcome!
