ah i know! i really wanted to attend this contest and see all the bands. but i had to play along with my drumline at crowley drumline contest. From what I hear wylie wasn't that impressive though. But then again this is pretty much the first major contest of the season, and i expect A LOT more changes to see who thetrue state contending bands are

I enjoyed this podcast. And the point you make about bands getting "overconfident" from local contests was spot on. It's so hard with the younger kids when you win 1st along with all captions at every local contest you go to then have to explain to them we have much more work to do, for UIL and such. :]

cowboys just got OWNED I had a bad feeling about this week. props to the 'skins

we are currently 2-2 our worst record ever. we've never lost more than two games in a season :[ well at least its not district yet. and we've gone undefeated there 5 out of 6 years we've been open

we still don't have all of our closer on the field. it isn't because of our drill writer though hes actually been great with getting stuff in everyday. were almost there though!

yeah the CD quality is horrible they compressed the songs and it sounds bad. you can get good copies off the internet though

AH we ALMOST have all our show on the field. we have a little bit of the closer left to get on there. we are playing the entire thing tomorrow against coppell though. timed it is 7 minutes and 44 seconds cutting it pretty close haha but everything isn't full speed yet so we'll have more wiggle room in a week or two :] so excited

so I just wanted to see what people thought of the new metallica album Well people who listen to them at least. They recently release their new album "death magnetic" I for one love it. I think it is actually my favorite by them. more like their old albums. back to their metal roots :]

i'm debating when i should go. i want to see that final block. but there is such a gap between that and finals. i may just go for finals... idk though :/
