  1. yeah, i agree, i think it was meant the best most recently, of course the the 93 show is hard to beat, but compared to the last decade of shows this show is very high energy, and hopefully the judges and audience will be entertained and awwed and spring can have a comeback. But who knows wut the future will hold, Nothing is written in stone until it happens.
  2. Yeah thats a good question. are they just focusing on BOA????
  3. Trumpet: 1945 King Liberty Model Mouthpiece: Blessing 3c Range: Pedal C to E above the staff Chair: 5th Race: Hawaiian, Samoan, German
  4. How many bands do they take out of area F?????
  5. Where's L.D. Bell on qualifying list???? I didn't see them are they not doing UIL????
  6. Boogie Wonderland by Earth Wind and Fire.
  7. I never really expected the woodlands to use the same props as last year. I didn't understand their show.... but none the less they still made 2nd place.
  8. I am also wondering the same thing cuz of all the changes. Their third band director also moved to hebron. after all the changes that had happened. Lots of schools have been through so many changes this year. Like Regan and Westfield, and the woodlands.
  9. I think they are changing their marching style too
  10. I'm from spring our show this year is called "Urban Energy" which features the music of the contempary American composers Richard Danielpour, and Aaron Guidry. Our shows name comes from the music called "Urban Dances" and our visual expert is Wes Carwright who also works with L.D. Bell and Broken Arrow. I am very confident with our show this year for making it to UIL State again and also going further with this show than we did with RBW.
  11. Well for westfield it's because of the number of changes they are going through this year
  12. Umm yeah our show at Spring might not have the flare or shock like other bands shows like B'Wood or Churchill but we make up with wut our band is known for and that is playing music and executing our drill with excellence. I mean just think back to RBW 2006, we dominated area when we had bands with us like B'Wood and the Woodlands. We are spring and stick to tradition which is Marching excellence and musicianship.
  13. I meant to spell MACHINE
  14. Yeah they will eventully be another great Spring ISD band. The sophmores and juniors in the band are formerly part of the Westfield band and a few from my school Spring. They are in a district where two of the most historic marching bands in texas came from and they will have to step up to the plate and keep the tradition going. I'd say give them another 5 to 6 years and they will phenomonal just like The BIG RED BAND and the MEAN GREEN MARCHING MACHINE.
  15. Yeah sorry bout the spelling, When i was typing i had just got back home from practice. Blah Blah Blah u get wut im saying lol
  16. I'm from Spring band and we small campared to those titan bands like L.D. Bell, Marcus, or Winston Churchill, and i feel being smaller than them is a deffinate disadvantage. When you have big bands like them your band gets more money, more people to use and so fourth. There should be a limit on how many people u can have marching on the field. I mean they have a limit on the length of the show, why not the number of marchers in a band. of course this is my opinion and many others my thinhk different. But that is my view on that topic.
  17. SPRING HIGH IS COMING BACK UP TO DOMINATE AREA F AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So watch out for the MEAN GREEN MARCHING MACHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  18. Our Show this year is called Urban NRG (Energy) it features music that Aarron Guirdy Transposed
  19. Marcus is going to be there and Reck
  20. HUrricane ike was **** and threw all the bands at the bottom of texas off wich is a **** since L.D. Bell probably didn't get nething
  21. My favorite is the Cavaliers 007 show, that was the best ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
