probably because the way they do things, in september they are still figuring out what their show is going to be so they dont start learning to really late in the season and at BOA finals last year when we were waiting in the lot before we had to line up for retreat, a couple of us were talking to some reagan techs and they said that they were completely changing their show (yes music and marching) before grand nats. i also think the new high school that was built in their district (johnson city i believe) might have to do with it because i heard they have to make freshman march this year which might slow them down a little bit . but who knows. and yet even with the weird way they do things they are always such a powerhouse, i dont get it.
because percussionist have so much junk, i mean we have a room for our stuff and still we have to you two 1 and a half walls of out band hall to store everything else, so with that much junk something is bound to go wrong.
lol the exorcising you used is the exorcise you use when you are driving away a ghost, now that is epic (no sarcasm intended there). So in a sense you contradicted yourself and said "people driving away their right to free speech." seeing exorcising twice made me laugh, and feel free to correct my spelling for a touche moment.
my freshman year i was steering the timpani cart and some other kid was pushing and we started going fast down a hill and i told the kid to slow us down as i was steering and he didnt so we ran into a car, and dented it, im pretty sure the school payed for the damages because the car was parked in the wrong place
those snare players are just the coolest most resourceful guys ever (not that i happen to know a snare drummer and there is no way possible that there is even the slightest chance that i am a snare drummer)
believe it or not out most famous national park is in wyomming and a lot of rich people including Cheney and Harisson Ford live in wyomming (dontcha know (thought that added a nice touch) )
Cavies - 95, 04, 06
Star of Indiana - 93
Phantom - 06
SCV - 89
but mainly Cavies 95 and 06, both those shows never get old (especially the youtube video of the
2006 tenor players drums falling off drums falling of the jbars, kind of off topic but hilarious none the less)
yeah i had no idea where the other regionals were so i kind of guess illinois because they are the state of the two greatest drum corps in the world so it would make sense to put a regional there but whatever. and im kind of curious, did you actually go on mapsquest or google earth and figure out how much closer the indianapolis regional was to loveland than the SA regional was, because if you did, that would be epic
so im pretty sure that this years area contest will be sweet. I know both Cp and Churchill are playing medea so that should be an intense showdown. has anyone heard about Reagan's show
i never understood why a band from the northern half of colorado would come all the way down here for Super Regional, if SA is really the closest super regional to loveland colorado then there is something wrong, i would think one in illinois would be closer. unless they want to compete with the sweet tx bands, which i can see why. but dear god that is a lonnnnnnnng bus ride or an expensive flight.
its gonna be alot more exciting especially because everyone is making better shows for the state year. is there anyone new going besides the stock Cp,Bowie,Round Rock, Gtown,etc....
