Hey bluebelbrass07 or anyone from LD bell- in 2006, why were there 3 drum majors at least at BOA regionals at UTA (Trey watson, Sarah Dorion, and Ryan Tamez) but for state and Grand Nationals, Ryan Tamez wasn't there? What happened to him?

This is good. I'm glad Marcus will be up there to compete with LD bell, because it's kinda similar to the 2007 season where Marcus won Super Regionals but LD Bell won nationals where Marcus wasn't there. Even though LD Bell won this year's Super Regionals, it will be interesting to watch this fight for national supremacy, especially adding all of the other bands from around the nation like Broken Arrow, Avon, Lawrence Central, Marion Catholic, etc.

Could somebody clarify the differences between show, drum corps, and military style? All of the great and big bands like LD Bell, Marcus, Coppell, Cedar Park, Duncanville, etc are all corps style right?

I can't believe Sundown had such a big band!

Don't know what music would be used, but here's an idea for a show: Dante's Divine Comedy Part 1: Inferno Part 2: Purgatory Part 3: Paradise Might be a little controversial though like the Passion idea

The individual music judge is a TA in the UT longhorn marching band and I asked her about Coppell's score and she said that she went up to some people and they werent playing, just marching and that had to do with why they were down low for that section of the judging.

Bowie and Marcus were right up on youtube. I saw the videos that were posted here in response to someone's requests. If they had looked for 2 seconds on youtube they would've found them. That's why I said that people should look for themselves on youtube before they give up and ask on here. I'm just saying.

how does the UTA band march? Like all of the high schools? I'm in the UT longhorn band and we all kind of frown upon the "high school" college bands lol

yeah hopefully they've improved from last year's let down season thanks to their drill writer

and I hesitate to say this but I think Coppell is a lock for finals. I wasn't so sure until I saw the show this past weekend. It's definitely not the same Coppell we know; they've made the show quite BOA friendly and when y'all see you'll know what I mean

this being my first time to watch a BOA event and not being in it, I was wondering if there will still be tickets if I choose to just purchase them at the gate? Like it won't sell out will it?
