Yeah, I'd have to agree on the 2nd issue.. Like even just being in warm up and being so close to another band made it almost impossible to hear our director's directions (for me at least)... There was one point during our finals warm up that one of the bands (I'm not sure who it was, they were being us and I was trying to not miss directions..) started testing one of their speakers and started playing music.. Heh, at one point there were at least 3 different mets running at the same time, and half the band got confused listening to the wrong met... Though I do want to give props to all the bands, warming up and on the field, for trying to work through distractions like that.

IF that "I'm not much of a believer in the whole UIL bands and BOA bands are completely different theory" was directed at what i said (and if it wasnt then pay no heed) but i was askign because i had been told by someone at some point that BOA was more for show and UIL was more for clean marching clean playing.

Isnt BOA style ,more like the flashy bands and such? And As for Reagan they have just as good for a shot as any other band,lets not forget BOA and UIL are different judging styles plus a week between UIL and BOA which is enough rehersal time to fix any problems that they had

He was using a school horn (G14) His Bro told me it was his,they found out when James read the listing of who was getting which horns. Not to mention he took it from me at the game when everyone came back.

Yeah its kinda a bummer that we havnt worked anything out,at least we have the Hey band thing at football games. And yeah the Road LHS is on is Bagdad road.

Its gotten smaller this year 1 Senior 1 Junior 3-4 Sophmores (we think 1 might of been kicked out of band) 4 Freshmen Hopfully the new batch of Freshmen for next year is a decent sized one =/ And as for the slide thing,i use a school's horn (Jame's old one for any LHS Tbone member who knows him) and it sticks at 3/4 position =P i wont lose it But i have had a fellow freshman get his spit valve stuck in my plume before..almost took my shako off my head..

Yeah i know what you mean.for my first year of marching it seems like the season flew by.But i hope to see CP there or at least your all's show. But its sad. if the listing is right i if i read it wrong, Vista Ridge isnt going to BOA? =/ thats sad i really wish they could go so i could have the possiblility of seeing them.

Thanks it good to hear that someone liked out show,but yeah thats what it comes down to.Being good doesnt cut it you have to better then the others. Good luck to the band that made state and good job to all bands who didnt make finals

Yeah thats what i was thinking,Its just gonna be wierd going in tomarrow to ask what they found out,That being our "best preformance yet" and making tied for 9th really bummed the band sadly.
