Haha... very funny.

I like marching season a lot ore than concert season... I feel like were working towards something more during marching season. I'm quite sad its over. I came home today and it was like.... really early. Such a strange feeling to not be at practice, haha. As for a holiday concert, we may not have one (yay for not playing sleigh ride for the one millionth time!) because we may just be doing a tribute to our marching season as a concert instead. A little celebration of our marching show and all that. Cool stuff. I will be in two holiday concerts aside from that though, one for orchestra, and one for a combination of orchestra and choir

They should move it around. Its Grand Nationals, not Grand Indianationals.... its gives the Indy bands a big advantage.

I've actually never heard anyone at Reagan talk bad about Westfield, we generally have a big respect for all Texas bands, so I dunno what the deal is. Congrats to Bell and Richland on making finals, by the way ^^

LD Bell will be going to grand nats in a few days, so they didn't go to SA BOA, as far as I know. I wish there was a week between BOA SA and grand nats, we don't get much of a break in between, especially when we've tons of tests to make up 'cause stupid teachers are jerks and assign tests while we're in Indy... bah!

I'm sad that I didn't actually ever get to go up into the stands to see some of the bands (I heard a lot though) because of our time placements

I wouldn't have minded the second in finals had we not just preformed, y'know? Like if we had done prelims on friday and didn't have to do them today, I wouldn't have minded so much, but I was really annoyed when I heard we got 2nd (Our director didn't even get to draw it, haha, it was the last one left) but that's alright, congrats again to everyone ^^ Nats is in less than a week, I can't wait ^______^

Our super secret surprise for grand nats is that I'm playing Faerie's Aire and Death Waltz this year as a trombone solo, it's crazy. But sh, don't tell anyone

I would definately watch that, I love all of those If I were to make a show I think a big brassy jazz show would be awesome, I think that'd be so much fun. Dunno what music I'd put in it though

The "gimmick" as you call it is kind of supposed to be random and crazy and out of place. It goes along with the "You Never Know" thing. ^^ LD Bell person!! You guys were great! Congrats to you and your band, I enjoyed watching your show a lot. And thanks for staying and watching us ^^ you guys are always so classy. Congrats again, and good luck on your next competition, wherever it is, and at BOA San Antonio (you're going, right?)

I was pretty amazed by Richland as well but the narraration I didn't like very much, it kind of creeped me out ^^;; As for LD Bell's show, I've talked to a lot of people that didn't like it. Personally, I didn't think it was boring as a lot of people have called it, I thought the whole thing was really pretty. I think once they clean it up and start getting more sound out it will be really good. (I really liked their guard uniforms too, I thought they looked cool) This might just be because I have a whole lot of respect for the LD Bell band. Reagan as a whole has tons of respect for them. They always stay to watch our preformance (or encore preformance like they did last night) no matter what, and they're always really classy about eveything they do whether they win or not. I was more impressed by Churchill, they put out some good sound and had a lot of nice visuals, though they had more "park and play" moments than I would have liked to see, I still loved the preformance though. As for us, I only saw a tiny bit of the recording so I'm not really sure if we were the "best band there" or not, but I know everyone in Reagan did their best and so did all of the other kids of every other band, so congrats to everyone. I think the whole regional turned out to be nothing short of amazing, I had a lot of fun watching the bands that I could. I was complaining the whole time that my kidneys were gonna explode because I didn't want to go to the bathroom and miss anyone's show ^^

This year most of ours are thursdays and fridays too. So far we've only had one saturday game but that was the Texas Football Classic thing in the alamodome. Well, then there's the game today, but we're not going because we're gonna be gone. Anyways, a final word before I'm off to school: good luck to everyone at Arlington!

Sure is! I'm so excited about it this year, much more than last year (the weather last year kind of killed the excitement too, but still)

That sounds like its a good idea... our classes are the same as they are for concert season (four different bands, each with their own class), with the exception of the pit and drumline having their own classes

We have the game together this year, though, but there's some thing happening during halftime or something, I dunno, so instead of playing at halftime, Reagan will have to perform after the game, I know that much... I don't remember what day the game is on though... I think its on a saturday near the end of the month

Well in that case, yeah, you're right. Its just like, on the BOA forums and stuff, if someone bad-talks reagan a lot of people seem to be like "oh, it must be a churchill person, they hate reagan" and stuff like that, y'know? It bothers me 'cause I have some friends at churchill
