It seems to me that a lot of people think that Reagan and Churchill hate each other, which really is far from the truth. We're rivals but its quite a friendly rivalry. For instance, we sent over a congradulatory banner to them after they did so well at BOA Houston, and from the Churchill people I've talked to, I hear its still hanging in their band hall ^^ Just a response to the "And if I'm not mistaken, they are huge rivals" thing. I dunno if you are one of the people that think we all hate each other or not, but I figured I may as well clear it up, just in case ^^ But anyways, the football games, to me, really aren't that different than other games, except I'm more interested in the halftime shows when its against someone like Churchill >.>

I think my favorite muffin is the chocolate chip muffin... y'know the kind with the mini-chocolate chips in it. Definately the best, anyone agree?

I watch tons of anime and aside from that I watch cartoons (Simpsons, Family Guy, Mission Hill, Futurama) and Seinfeld and That 70s Show and House.... and I think that's about it.

I'm expecting to see some really amazing stuff at arlington this year, I've heard nothing but good things about a lot of the bands attending. If anyone feels like finding me they can look for the only girl playing trombone in reagan's show ^^

Personally, I though Psychonauts was a reeeeaaaally fun (and hillarious) game. My favorite game, though, would probably be Chrono Cross (its for the original PlayStation). Such a good game. And I like the song for the beginning seqence thing ^^ The Legend of Zelda games for N64 and SNES were pretty great too.

Haha, that made me laugh ^^ And sorry drumline person -.- I didn't realise the show was so super confidential. Jeez. Its not that big a deal. But whatever, tell them to ignore me. Its not like I'm sending them the music or show file on pyware or anything. Ohh no, Monica told people the name of the band show, now the whole experience of watching it is ruined! Just so you know, I generally like to know the names of shows I'm watching -.- And by the way, a ton of reagan kids talk about the show in their xangas which are free for the whole world to read, they even have a blogring JUST for reagan band people. Pre-AP Pre-Cal = Eviiiiillll Just finished my take-home test from in there, and I turn it in tomorrow and get a regular test in class right afterwords. Stupid sines and cosines and annoying things....

Uhhg, our band directors are notorious for doing that. We had three different endings of our show last year too x_x, and they changed it alllll the time. Like last year, we were on the busses at like 5 in the morning about to go to... Arlington, I think, and our drum major gets on the bus and is like "Alright, I'm passing out new music because they changed a part. Hah, when does that ever happen, right?" and we were supposed to look over it while driving up there and then preform that version of it at the competition. Luckily the trombones didn't get new parts, just like... a ton of other instruments did, so I didn't have to learn anything new. They change music/drill around a lot at Reagan since its our own staff that writes it all. I dunno if other bands do that or not, I just know that some bands don't write their own shows so -shrug- yeah

Sounds nice ^^, well I can't quite do that yet, I'm only a 10th grader >.<

We don't have that problem, all our section leaders are crazy band nazis >.> When they chose section leaders, they had to write resumes and go in for interviews with all the directors and teachers and like any adults that have anything to do with the band (except for band parents, hah) and get dressed up and all this other stuff to be section leaders/field officers, or for band offices. I'm thinking about doing it this year at the end but I dunno if my band resume would look that great o.o;; I guess its a pretty good way to do it though, to make sure the leadership is pretty good. And about the hazing stuff, the trombone section does that -cries- we have to do pushups every time one of our section leaders sees anyone doing anything wrong (even just going one accidental step on when we're supposed to stop) they cout five push ups for EVERYONE. So even when I do nothing wrong, I still have to do them 'cause the rest of the trombone section is stupd x_x We do 'em all at the end of practice on the super-hot black asphalt and after we're tired because we did a billion run-throughs (Gah, I'm such a complainer)

I love them!! Then we can have an hour and a half of band every day and you get an extra day to do homework! I like them a lot better than regular days (which I had in middle school)

I used to have a copy of Farie's Aire and Death Waltz but I lost it -cries- I love all the lil comments "breathe now" "light explosives now..... and.... now" "increase breathing" "gradually become agitated" "mute in, mute out, mute in, sell mute" "Have a nice day!" I love it! ^^

I know someone that got tripped by a judge accadently at Grand Nats ^^ and apparently on the tape the judge was talking and he was like "Oh... very nice, good form... Oh ****! Sorry!" He later used the experience to write many a college essay Also, when my sister was in 10th grade, it was raining and they were doing a practice before a competition and she slipped in the mud and broke her wrist. But she didn't think it was broken, so she got on the bus and went the whole trip and did the competition and everything with a broken wrist. She used electrical tape (we carry it around to tape our gloves to ourselves so they don't slip down) to tape her horn to her hand because she couldn't hold it up. Then she got a black cast to match our uniforms. Now that's dedication. (Also was used to write college essays ^^ )

Best bands ever = Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, The Eagles, Smashing Pumpkins, Pearl Jam, ...some Guns 'n' Roses stuff, not all, I kind of can't stand Axel's voice.... for some reason I can't think of any more right now x_x but yeah, those are some good ones

This isn't a "things they say that never happen" but whatever >.> "If you can't cover down to a line, you deserve to be shot!" Can a band director really say that in front of a bunch of parents watching us practice? o.o;; Or there's always the classic "One more run-through then we're out!"
