So true, they defiantly deserved it. I'm not brass man, but they sounded so clean on finals night that me and my bro were just freaking out over it. They're on the rise for sure and might take the title this year if they go full force. Blue stars are kicking butt too

I'm sure they will. I hope they do very well this year because I think they're gunning for a bit more than 3rd place.

So do I and all other L.I.S.D band students, but apparently our district is one of the fastest growing districts in the U.S. Heck, we open 2 new elementary schools every year! It's just getting ridiculous.

It's not a good idea to think that you can march any corps for sure. You could be very good but have a completely different style than the corps and they might not want you for that. I've heard of many stories about people who get cut from non-finalist corps, and then go on to get into a finalist corps that year.

I even said no offense ... I'm sorry if I came across as a jerk. And as for the sarcasm thing, I'm just trying to make it obvious that I was using sarcasm... I don't want to cause another misunderstanding like in the state thread... Again I'm not trying to offend anybody in anyway. If I did offend anybody then I apologize. Do not think of Vista Ridge as a worse program or anything of the sort because of my out of taste way of making a point.
