I think that we, seguin, have the worst uniform. It is really hard to hide the cover downs and sameness and diagonals. Just because of how the uniforms are made.

To tell you the truth, my band has alot of people that are always gone. We are "suppose" to make up for the hours that we missed, but our BD never really get on to us about it.

No i ididnt but i just couldnt imagine the iniform until i saw it.

I get the reply when somebody said that they look like a mix of power ranger and a pope. They actually do though.

Out of the bands ive see, which are San Marcos, New Braunfels, Akins, Westwood, and Hays, i like hays show this year. Its funny.

Last year oak ridge did win in prelims but they only won by .1 ove seguin but in the finals, we won it all, no one was even close. By we, i meant seguin. This year though, i dont know how good we will be considering that we dont have a guard instructor because she went back to college. The ones that are helping are former graduates, one graduated this past year and the other one from a year ago. it will be pretty interesting.

Trust me i tried. I thought being a section leader would help also, but men was i wrong.

I dont like marching band, ive been trying to quit but my BD wont let me quit, so yeah, but i like concert season. The reason is because i feel more challenge during concert season rather than marching season. The songs are just not that difficult. It used to be but not anymore.

Anyone else here finishing their show??? We are still trying to put down our closer, Region is this monday and next saturday we have conroe, this is the latest we have ever been on putting down our show. Anyone else trying to learn their show???

Wow i cant believe that we went from having a score of 66.95 in prelims to 74.7 in finals. Thats pretty cool.

Also i apologize for my mistake, it was round rock that had the chang hang low pit.

Yo moose was our show really that boring this year??? I thought that this year show is alot more entertaining than last year's show. Also we cut down some visuals and we also havent added more visuals, especially our low brass feature. Also we still have to learn two thirds of the closer. On another subject, i dont know if akins can make SA BOA finals just because of their show. Their show is good, but some of the great bands are just starting to clean up and build momentum for their show. Its going to be an interesting BOA SA this year. Also just want to know if it is Akins or Atkins?? I always thought it was Akins.

Hey i didnt know that our pit played chang hang low. I know another pit played the chang hang low. I think it was georgetown. It somebody who has the maroon uniforms. It was really cool. Also congrats to akins. Show was really cool and by far the band that really had their show down. Yall owned the field last night.

After the football game today, i think that Akins could pull out and win this competetion. They were really good today during half time. As for us, we could be better.

I just found out that we are going to end the show up to the pages weve just been working on. Its pretty cool but really hard. I heard that they are going to have retreat also, maybe we can all meet up during the retreat.

Its kind of weird how Cedar Park is doing the exhibition twice. Ive never heard of a band doing that before. Well i just found out that we are going to be plying the last 4th of our closer just standing.

We dont really have a drumcorp rivalries, we have more of a college football team rivalry.

Men i cant wait till this competition. I think our show is turning out pretty good. If we marched clean, i think that we might do good.

ok just want to know what a DDR is and if anyone is going to be @ the Cedar Park competition??

I remember 2002. I was there because our middle schools went and support the high school band. It was really, really cold that day.

Im from Seguin and we are going to compete in this competition. It is going to be a prelims and final thing. I dont know who's going to go but my band director told me that there are going to be alot of great bands going.

Does it also depend on how difficult your show is??? Or the tempo of the show??? Just curious because it was raining really hard, then as it was about to go to halftime (about aminute or two) the rained stopped, but we still didnt march. It did start pouring again 3 minutes into the 3rd.

So last night @ the game between New Braunfels and Seguin, both bands decided not to march. Well it was more of the directors decisions not to march. Well they decided to have the bands playing right after another during half-time. Oh it was all brass, woodwinds couldnt have their horn out. So just curious what other band did yesterday for half-time if it rained in their area?
